Baptisms
To book a Baptism please contact the Churchwarden two or three months prior to the date required. Baptisms can be held during the morning service or by arrangement on a second or fourth Sunday afternoon.
Weddings
Set within the beautiful landscape of the South Downs National Park, the church of St Michael and All Angels lies at the west end of the picturesque village of Amberley. The lane to the church is lined with thatched houses and there are lovely views towards the Downs.
The pretty church, dating from the 12th Century, can seat a congregation of 120. There is a set of five bells that can be rung to celebrate your marriage. A resident choir can lead the singing and perform anthems if you wish.
Immediately behind the church is Amberley Castle Hotel which can host your reception and house your guests in style. For smaller or more informal weddings there are many other possible local venues, including our own church hall next to the church, and a number of high-quality B&B’s in the village.

Funerals and Interments
For Funerals, Interment of Ashes, entries in the Memorial Book, please contact the Churchwarden. Records are held of the positions of the memorial stones and burials. To find a relative, please contact the Churchwarden.
